Over several weeks, get ever-closer to the ultimate goal, ascending through woods, Sherpa villages and across mountain passes. Gorak Shep, a base camp, sits at 5,160 m and from here you will need every last ounce of energy to make it to the Kalapathar to witness the grandeur of Everest up close. |
