| Day | Destination | Description |
| Days 1-2 | Siena | While its rival, Florence, bloomed during the Renaissance, Siena's striking architecture is mostly Gothic. Admire the frescoes in the Duomo, take in the lively atmosphere of the Piazza del Campo and catch sweeping views of the surrounding countryside while roaming the meandering streets. A taste-testing visit to an enoteca is sure to delight. |
| Days 3-4 | Chianti Region | Take the opportunity to explore the beautiful region that produces Italy's most famous red wine, and perhaps grab a few bottles to take home. Get some fresh air cycling across the rolling hills of Tuscany, known for its landscapes and artistic heritage of architecture, painting and sculpture. |
| Day 5 | Florence | Tuscany's cultural heart bursts with religious treasures and Renaissance masterpieces. Take a walk past the famous sites, including the lofty dome of the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio. It is said that out of the 1000 most important European artists of the second millennium, a third lived in Florence. With that in mind, it is well worth visiting the Uffizi gallery, home to artworks by masters such as Botticelli, Caravaggio and Raphael. |
| Days 6-8 | Pisa and Cinque Terre | Uncover the story behind the gravity-defying Leaning Tower of Pisa. Consider climbing its stairs for an interesting perspective. Later, head to the famed 'five lands' of the Cinque Terra. Hike along the coastal path that connects the quaint, pastel-coloured villages of the Cinque Terre. Explore the villages along the way, perhaps stopping for a fresh seafood lunch. The vistas along the way are incredible, with cliffs dotted with olive groves plunging steeply into the azure sea. |
