| Day 1 | PORT GENTIL | Upon arrival at Leon MBA International Airport in Libreville, you will be met and assisted through customs and immigration. Our representative will transfer you to the hotel. Overnight at Le Meridien Re-Ndama Hotel Libreville Or Similar |
| Day 2 | EVENGUE LODGE | After breakfast, you will take a flight to Omboue via Port Gentil. Upon arrival you will be welcomed and transferred to Loango Lodge. After check in at the lodge, you will take a short boat trip to the small gorilla sanctuary island of Evengue. After lunch you will meet with our eco ?guides and experts to explain the gorilla program. You will take a short bush walk that leads to the gorilla family living area, where you will encounter the gorillas at a close proximity. Later in the afternoon, you will have free time to discover the island on foot or by kayak, or simply enjoy the tranquility and views from the terrace. | Day 3 | TASSI SAVANNAH CAMP | After breakfast, you will drive on a 4x4 vehicle to Tassi /Louri Area( wet season) or Akaka Camp (dry season) During the drive to Tassi, you will encounter elephants, red river hogs, buffaloes, and an abundance of birds. The camp is surrounded by primary and secondary forests. You may also visit the Max Planck Institute to learn the habituation program of the gorillas and chimpanzees. In the dry season, the boat departs for a 4hour journey to Akaka across large lagoons. Akaka is one of the most remote parts of Loango National Park. The forests are rich in butterflies and harbor a number of bird species *NOTE: The dry season is from May to September, and the rainy season is from October to April. | Day 4 | TASSI SAVANNAH CAMP | After breakfast, you will go on a safari at the Akaka Camp where you will spot gorillas and chimpanzees. You may also take excursions to Louri area where you will see buffaloes, hippos and elephants amongst other animals. At the Akaka, the forest camp is in the heart of the tropical rainforest. Akaka is a good starting point for excursions like forest walks, kayaking on the Rembo Ngowe and Rembo Echira rivers or motorized boat trips along the rivers. You will see the migrating forest buffalo and elephants. *NOTE: The dry season is from May to September, and the rainy season is from October to April. | Day 5 | PT.ST. CATHERINE BEACH CAMP | After breakfast, depart for a safari in the Loango National Park. At Loango Park, you will be surrounded by diversity and natural splendor; on forest walks where you can approach wildlife against beautiful savanna backdrops. You will have a choice of a picnic lunch or return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, take a boat tour over the lagoon to the Point St.Catherine beach camp. | Day 6 | Sao Tome | After breakfast, you will be transferred to Port Gentil for your flight to Libreville. You will then depart on another flight to Sao Tome. It is the capital city of Sao Tome and Principe, an island nation in the Gulf of Guinea. Both Sao Tome and Principe islands are part of an extinct volcanic mountain range. You will be met and transferred to Marlin Beach Hotel. Explore the beautiful coastline by boat where you can go fishing, bird watching or watch dolphins play around the boat. | Day 7 | SAO TOME ISLAND | After breakfast, enjoy the atmosphere of evident luxury and an intoxicating blend of sunlight, sea, air and abundant vegetation.
