| Day | Destination | Description |
| Day 1 | Lima | This city was built in the 1500s on top of existing Inca palaces, forcing the local chief at the time to move on and allowing the Spanish to move in. Begin to uncover Lima's history on an orientation walk around the major sights. |
| Days 2-3 | Amazon Jungle | Fly to the frontier town of Puerto Maldonado and travel by canoe into the dense, exotic forest of the famed Amazon Jungle. Explore the wilds of the forest - spot macaws, monkeys, peccary and thousands of butterflies - and stay in an enviromentally-sound lodge. |
| Day 4 | Cuzco | The heart and soul of Peru is definitely buzzing Cuzco, a great town to explore on foot. Check out the colonial churches and the several impressive Inca ruins within the city. Why not visit Coricancha, once the Inca Empire's richest temple complex - it used to be thickly plated in gold. |
| Day 5 | Sacred Valley | Travel by bus through this lush, terraced valley on the outskirts of Cuzvo, stopping at local villages to gain insight into both modern and ancient Peru. If our visit coincides with market day, enjoy browsing the stalls of Pisac's colourful artisan market stalls piled high with hand-painted beads and bright ponchos. |
| Days 6-9 | Inca Trail | Be joined by porters, a cook and a local guide to assist on this incredible four-day trek along the Inca Trail. Take in the sights and sounds of the ancient route as we cross high plateaus and dense forests, stopping to observe the ruins of ancient villages and temples along the way. Camp out along the way, including at the spectacular Winay Wayna (Forever Young) Ruins, with panoramic views of the valley below. After all that hard work, explore stunning Machu Picchu. |
| Day 10 | Cuzco | A Pisco Sour awaits in Cuzco, as do more sightseeing and adventure sport opportunities. Or just browse the stalls of the central market and pick up some woollen goods. |
| Days 11-12 | Puno/Lake Titicaca | On Peru's border is the mystical Lake Titicaca, a huge inland sea dotted with many culturally distinct islands. Ancient beliefs and traditions still hold true in many of the villages in the area. Learn about life on the lake during a homestay visit with a local family. |
| Days 13-15 | La Paz | Visit the Tiahuanaco ruins, a former trading hub and ceremonial centre, for a glimpse of some fascinating pre-Incan architecture. Then hit the markets of La Paz to pick up a souvenir - look out for the cheeky Ekeko figure, a god of good fortune who only brings luck if given as a gift. |
