| Day | Destination | Description |
| Day 1 | Lima | Begin explorations in Lima's Plaza Mayor, flanked by streets of ornate colonial mansions, palaces and churches. |
| Day 2 | Pisco | Visit Pisco, gateway to the Paracas National Reserve, a haven for wildlife such as pelicans, red-footed boobies, flamingos, sea lions and penguins. Take a seat in the Plaza de Armas, where locals hang out and munch on tejas, small sweets made from nuts and dried fruits. |
| Days 3-4 | Nazca | Drop in at the oasis of Huacachina to see dramatic sand dunes before heading to one of the world's most mysterious archaeological sites, the Nazca Lines. Continue on to the ancient desert cemetery of Chauchilla, where the arid climate has naturally mummified the bodies. |
| Day 5 | Arequipa | At the foot of El Misti Volcano lies Arequipa, a city brimming with the best of Spanish colonial charm. Marvel at the dazzling buildings made from pale volcanic rock that lend Arequipa its nickname, 'White City'. |
| Days 6-7 | Colca Canyon | Be impressed by the depth of the Colca Canyon while keeping an eye out for its magnificent resident: the Andean condor, the world's largest flying bird. Traditional Indian villages are dotted throughout the canyon. |
| Days 8-10 | Puno/Lake Titicaca | Cross the Andes to explore the immense waters of Lake Titicaca. Tour the lake by boat to see the unique islands and cultures, such as the floating Uros islands, built from layers of totora reeds. Enjoy a homestay with a local family on a community island. |
| Days 11-12 | Cuzco | There are plenty of sights to discover in the area, from Inca walls to Baroque churches and ancient ruins. |
| Days 13-16 | Inca Trail | The demanding trek on the Inca Trail winds through dense forest and high plateaus, over several passes and up the steps of the Sun Gate to reveal the ruins of Machu Picchu. Wander around the sacred grounds and wonder at its history; hidden until the early 1900s, knowledge about the site remains sketchy with experts unable to agree on its function. One thing that is agreed upon is that, due to the high quality of the stone and ornamental work, Machu Picchu must once have been a grand ceremonial centre. |
| Day 17 | Cuzco | Rest those weary legs at a cafe on Plaza de Armas or head out to see more of the fascinating ruins surrounding Cuzco. |
| Days 18-19 | Amazon Jungle | Travel by motorised canoe into the thick forest of the Amazon to stay in an eco-friendly lodge. Head out into the steamy jungle with a local guide to learn about this amazing wilderness. Marvel at the abundance of exotic flora and fauna - lush green plants and vines bloom with flowers and colourful birds and butterflies abound in this otherworldy rainforest. |
| Days 20-21 | Lima | Soak up more of Lima's colourful history before bidding goodbye to wonderful Peru. |
