| Day | Destination | Description |
| Days 1-2 | Rio de Janeiro | Set against the luminescent green of Guanbara Bay and surrounded by the lush slopes of Sugar Loaf Mountain and Corcovado, it's easy to fall in love with the glamour and vibrant atmosphere of this energetic city. There are a large number of excellent museums to visit, including the Museu do Universo (Universe Museum) at the Planetarium. It's easy to see why the locals like to say 'God made the world in six days, the seventh he devoted to Rio.' |
| Days 3-4 | Parati | Escape the hectic pace of city life on a trip to Parati. Take time out to swim, relax or hike through the surrounding national parks. A day spent beach-hopping on a boat tour of Parati Bay offers a great chance to snorkel through crystal clear waters and try some fresh seafood. In central Parati, the cobblestone, pedestrian-only streets become covered in sea water at high tide, adding to its colonial charm. |
| Days 5-8 | Iguazu Falls | There is a quick stop in Sao Paulo, the largest city in the southern hemisphere, before travelling to Iguazu Falls. Discover the legends and history of this massive natural wonder or just gaze into the gushing waters and lose yourself in the beautiful surrounds. Take in grand panoramas of the spectacle of over 275 falls, some up to 80 m in height, from the Brazilian side and get up close to the raging waters on the boardwalks constructed on the Argentinean side. For a more adrenaline-pumping option, its possible to take a helicopter ride right over the top. |
| Days 9-10 | Bonito | With a name that means 'beautiful' it's no wonder that Bonito has a reputation as a nature lover's paradise. There are spectacular mountain walks and snorkelling opportunities abound, but the real highlights are the waterfalls and caves. Explore this natural wonderland at your leisure. Dive into crystal-clear rivers to come face to face with colourful fish or discover caves with lakes and stalactactite formations. |
| Days 11-13 | Pantanal/Campo Grande | The vast alluvial plain of Pantanal is seasonally flooded by the Paraguay River, giving home to a wonderfully diverse wildlife including howler monkeys, giant otters, anteaters, macaws and millions of caimans. Enjoy a tour of the area, birdwatching and exploring the bountiful wetlands. Be sure to rise early and catch an unforgettable Pantanal sunrise. |
| Days 14-15 | Rio de Janeiro | Return to Rio for a final night on the town. Lapa has great dance halls where you can join locals doing some serious samba to live music. Don't miss trying some of the local brew, cachaca, in a popular batida de lima or caipirinha. |
